These players seem to be our best actual performers and this seems to be the best way to line them up. Wood/Jesus/MGW maximises the goal threat and if our wingers aren't going to do anything we lose nothing playing Morgan (or Jesus) in one of those spots. Plus those three together gives you more movement and hopefully creates more chances. Some may complain there's no CHO but I just don;t see enough from him week to week. PS Hutch needs to do more of what led to Morgan's second yesterday: beat the man, cross the ball!

Jesus did look great in the 10 spot. Recieving the ball in tight spots, drawing in defenders and creating space for teammates before playing them in.
Would be interesting to see if other defences struggle with him in that role.
Then we just need Wood to rediscover his magic touch, or see what Taiwo can do when he’s not the defence’s sole focus.

Hutchinson gets bullied too easily imo, he doesn’t have pace to outrun his man to compensate. He is technically good but yeah it.leads to him panicking and giving the ball away often

  3. I think Jair Cunha deserves a start and a back 3 can help with giving freedom to Aina and Williams to provide the width. Think Dominguez and Yates are capable of starting too but it’s nice to have good bench players. Hutchinson has always been better off the bench for us against tired legs.
