It honestly feels like our competitors are trying to keep us in contention for European football more than us; how we’ve managed to stay 6th for this long is beyond me. Also Brentford drawing all their last 5 games in a row is kinda mad.
Assna bottling, Spurs relegation, i just need us to win the FA cup 😭😭😭🙏
Has Liam been sacked yet, or are the owners clinging to straws and dropping points again against Brighton?
A little like Arsenal yesterday, we were unlucky on Saturday not to come away with anything but it proved one thing – yet again. We are nothing without a competent striker. Our present owners clearly haven’t studied our past. It’s Lesson No 1.
Watched 3 games of football this weekend. Entertaining dynamic football played by Everton/Liverpool, and City/Arsenal.
Directness, verve, balls being played in behind at pace and all kinds of angles…then us:
Pedestrian. Slow. Predictable. Safe.
We look at stats and wonder why we aren’t winning games, but if you actually watch us play its evident that we’re just so poor
Chelsea winrate without Cole Palmer: [72.7%](https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask/chelsea-record-without-cole-palmer-this-season?l=pl)
Chelsea winrate with Cole Palmer: [22.3%](https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask/chelsea-record-with-cole-palmer-this-season?l=pl)
Some other interesting stats:
– Garnacho 40.9% when he plays, 36.4% when he doesn’t
– Neto 38.7% when he plays, 50% when he doesn’t (only 2 games)
– Cucurella 44.8% when he plays, 0% when he doesn’t
– Chelsea overall – 39% winrate.
Feel like shit, just want Tuchel back.
Atleast we weren’t leaking goals like I leak shit after having an extra spicy chicken item for dinner.
City is 3 points behind Arserrorism and have 36 goals difference against theirs 37 with one less game.
I don’t want to celebrate a 3-0 defeat but let’s take the one single positive thing about it…
Awful take incoming considering the times…
But I was watching Eze yesterday, and aside from hitting the bar, he didn’t do much else.
It made me kinda understand the owners policy of not buying a Raheem Sterling again, who might turn out to be shit but is on 300k+ a week
Rather low-ball kids and see who gets successful and start from there
…is what I’d say if I was mad
Because we really didn’t even try for Guehi and he’d have made our defense 10times better regardless. Defenders are much less riskier than attackers.
Olise vs Garnacho… You really saw those two and thought, we’d rather go for the uncontrollable undisciplined twat instead of someone who was actually smoking the premier league? Gittens? What?
Remember Jackson red vs Newcastle last season I think that’s a softer red than if Gabriel would’ve been given a red for his headbutt today
I will never understand why rosenoir tanked us all of a sudden. We were on a good run until he suddenly decided to drop the existing system and implement his own against PSG. He could have waited for international break to make player understand his ideas better but instead he decided to do a complete teardown in our biggest game. Went out our man to man marking and in came this weird system where we look susceptible to everything. In came that GK bs which lost us that tie.
With how passive we look in different phases these days i think he has lost the belief of players in his ideas.
Liam still at the wheel?
I hate this data driven club.. man..
What can you do when your club is ran like a business. Buying inexperienced youngsters and tying them to long-term contracts for future profits. Who even are our world class players?
This fanbase has said pretty stpid things over the years, but one of the Dumbest thing I’ve heard, was when people didn’t want Guehi, because he was “short”….
He’s elite aerially, but because he’s 5’11, people didn’t want him lmao.
Gimme back start of the season when hopes were high and united were a laughing stock..

We still 6th, how?!

Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, weather is warming, and arsenal are collapsing. Spring is in the air. 😎
Things might not be great at home, but we’re about to watch Spuds get *relegated* and Arsenal suffer their most painful bottle job yet. All in one season.
I’ll worry about our problems later. This is fun to watch.
