Okay so I was watching some highlights from the BBC era and there's one thing which I've noticed. I'm not saying dictator maubappe doesn't know how to Play or vini is not good enough but there has to be some reason that we have to see things like this. Ik vinicius was arguably having a bad game but still Obvious chances were there when mbappe just could've passed to vini and he would've scored but he wasn't passing. Compared to the superstars who played for this club, who as players are way beyond these two, they never cared about all this if a passing option is open they just used to pass and move on. These two are nothing compared to them as they were always comfortable together literally no personality clashes nothing just pure effort and teamwork with talent. Now idk what's the issue here is it the coache's fault or they are against each other god knows but something IS fs wrong in this scenario.

You’re absolutely right, the legends of the past were on a whole different level of maturity. What’s happening now is that both ‘Dictator’ Mbappe and Vini are trying to prove they are the main star by scoring themselves. While they have the right to be ambitious, it must have limits.
Personal ego shouldn’t affect the team’s results, as they should be professional enough to understand that the team’s success always comes before any individual glory

  2. Crazy mix of selfish and low iq. Neither mbappe nor vini have big game iq, they are not intelligent and fluid footballers

  3. Well… when we had BBC, Benz and Bale knew Cristiano is the number 1 guy. Bale and Benzema were basically 2A 2B. So they all know where to be when we are on attack.

Mbappe and Vini has to let one of them lead. We can’t have two main characters. One has to play for the other. Vini did it for Benzema and we all saw how that went.

The issue now also isn’t personality and we’ve had 3 managers who can’t figure it out. I think the simplest answer is that they just don’t fit together and their plays styles dont mesh.
Besides that, they are great players but their football IQs also aren’t as good as any of the bbc. Cristiano maybe isn’t seen as a guy who would drop in to get the ball but he could still play a great pass or cross into the box. Bale was an even better crosser and benz was obviously a great distributor.
I just don’t think their play stiles can work and they don’t have the skill set or IQ to accommodate for the lack of cohesion.

How about you show the actual videos. Player positioning, line of sight, etc. I saw the play with Mbappe/Vini and there was no way to get that ball to Vini even if Mbappe knew he was making the run.

Cristiano and Gareth were also elite passers and playmakers. Mbappe will take an opportunity for a simple pass and turn it into a messy heel flick, or Vini will have made up his mind 5 minutes prior to not look around and pass.

  7. This post is laughable cause I remember during the BBC period the hundreds of times when Ronaldo and Bale didn’t pass to each other and instead went for their personal glory, which raised a lot of Marca and AS articles saying they’re not in good terms etc.
But obviously in the end they were very successful together, and all those things were forgotten.

As for the Mbappe picture, it’s literally the worst screenshot of that action, cause the fault is him not passing to Vini 5 seconds earlier when he got the ball, not here when Vini is behind him and not in eyesight.

I wanted to post a video Asencio’s goal against Bayern at alianz arena but 300 characters rule stopped me

It was the same position and the same counter attack

  9. Vini sent a wide open left footed shot wide of the net. I know Ronaldo would’ve made that easily. Times were good then

We all know what Mbappe cares about based on his history at PSG and how he played injured just to break CR7 record.

  11. You really can’t compare Benz, Bale, CR7 with these two clowns (Vini & Mbappe). Benzema’s game IQ was and is still much better and higher, like a 100x better, than Vini & Mbappe combined. The guy would drop deep and make sure the midfield and attack can connect and sacrificed himself for years so CR7 can shine. What we actually needed was Harry Kane, not Mbappe, as simple as that.
