Rosenior: ‘The reality is Man United had one shot on target, scored against ten men and won the game 1-0. That should be impossible.’

Not scoring a goal at home against top flight opposition for two months should also be impossible but here we are

The reality is Garnacho misjudged Bruno’s explosiveness and let him dribble forward into the space he didn’t think existed. Bruno then executed a simple pass and they scored. It was a compound error that turned into a goal and that’s an exact thing that happens and WILL keep happening when your wingers are shit. Especially if you rely on players rotating as they press (a requirement for inverting tactics)

It’s a miracle how he’s not been sacked yet. The worst manager I’ve ever seen in the history of our club

It’s a mixture of we are god damn awful with we are getting punished for every single mistake

didn’t we have 0 big chances created? surely that shouldn’t be possible in a game where as he put it we “dominated”

also can this guy STFU already? all he does is yap and make excuses, always proceeding the excuse with “i’m not making excuses BUT”

    enough of this shit

  6. I grant him that we did played okish football and deserved more from that game. But these comments doesnt help anyone and push fanbase more away from him.

I don’t think I ever seen this lack of accountability from a Chelsea manager

Well, it’s clearly not is it, because it happened. Absolute mug. Maybe if we learnt how to break down teams.

  9. I don’t understand how can people who say they are fans of the club agree with Liam here. This is the kind of shit that we used to hear from man united in their banter era.

  10. I think at this point our lack of goals is probably a bigger hindrance to our ability to get results than anything else. Liam can’t put the ball in the back of the net himself and no one has form right now. It’s embarrassing how little bite the forward line has. This team NEEDS a hero.

  11. Delap, Garnacho and Gittens have 2 league goals in 2500 minutes of total play and we paid £130m for them + add-ons (lol)…

    Now that should be impossible!

  12. Technically we can still finish 17th, but I don’t want to see LR pulling that rabbit out of his hat.

This man needs to go. What’s this poor excuse? What about Everton? What about man city? What about psg? What about Newcastle? How have you gone on to win just one game against a league one side and still got the guts to make these sorry excuses? Make it make sense mate.

  14. He could’ve brought on Andrey Santos and pushed Enzo up, drop Garnacho and play Neto left, Palmer right; even if both suck there anyway that’s still better than bringing on 2 centre-backs

  15. And what, Liam? Thanks for telling us exactly what happened. This reeks of Graham Potter explaining that Villa’s goal had a really low XG 🙂‍↔️

  16. – 1 game, happens
    – 2 games, not our day
    – 3 games , unlucky
    – 4 games in a row???

  17. The team is getting worse the longer he’s there. That’s the worrying part. Started off ok. Now in the pisser.

  18. Another decent game from the manager a d players but poor result. Give Rosenior more time. Gameplay wise I still believe Rosenior is better than Maresca. Hopefully the board dont fire him immediately as I can sense Rosenior will come good next season.

  19. I said it yesterday and I meant it.
Someone in London needs to check on Chelsea’s training sessions.
Nothing about this team strikes me as they work on anything in training.
We mocked Poch for being a cardio merchant but at least you could see a style of play and attempts to adapt to opposition. Maresca came in with less emphasis on cardio and more on tactical adjustments and we saw that on the pitch.
    This team shows nothing.
No sign that there’s a manager doing anything with them. Rosenior arrived around the same time with Carrick so no excuses on time spent with the squad. There was almost instant evidence that Carrick was working on something with Man Utd. So far, nothing like that over here at Chelsea.

  20. He’s got a point. But players clearly don’t respect him and it feels like there’s no strategy every game. So still not taking any positives from that performance

One sign of a good manager is the improvement of a team after half time. We didn’t take the ball out of our half for the first five minutes in the second half. We timed it in the MHS, no wonder he got a bad reception when he came over at the end.

Well said—look at Chelsea, granting teams Make-a-Wish miracle wins! As a fan of the club since the 90s, now I feel better. Loving this pivot from championship caliber club to charitable foundation, helping rivals win impossible matches like this. Up the Chels!
