This might be an unpopular opinion but in the long run it’s actually a good thing that Rosenior is doing this badly

We’ve sacked (or pushed out, it’s the same difference) coaches for two reasons under Clearlake. Tuchel/Maresca/Poch for not fitting their idea of what the coach should be and having ideas outside of their station, and Potter for having catastrophically bad results.

When Liam was appointed my worry was he’d get just okay results (ECL level PPG) while doing/saying everything the board wants, and this would mean they’d be perfectly happy keeping him even though this isn’t good enough.

Given his apparent temperament as being a company man and not wanting to kick up a fuss, the only way he gets sacked is if results are catastrophically bad like they were with Potter. In the long run this would be a positive for the club assuming they appoint someone competent next which is absolutely not guaranteed, but I’d rather take that risk than get just ‘okay’ results and have Clearlake be happy enough with that

  2. I can’t even enjoy spurs relegating because this is us next season or two.

    BLUECO OUT

May as well let him see out the season, though. No-one would be able to come in and shift it enough for yet more upheaval. The problems are so deep and structural that rearranging the deckchairs at this point wouldn’t achieve anything. Many are also forgetting that we won one in eight before Maresca quit.

The season is already a write off (aside from if we manage to nick the Cup) so let him see it out, then sack him in June and give a new manager a proper run at it.

Clearlake need to be doing the manager recruitment now, though. One hopes that they are, but who knows with these buffoons.

People overreacting we had PSG on the ropes in the first 80 minutes and we were unlucky against Man United, we showed flashes of brilliance even in the games we lost especially the build up phase has been impressive these things happened even to Klopp and Pep. Rosenoir is a good coach and should be given time to relegate us into the 3rd division.
