A duo already in history! Pacho-Marquinhos: The best defensive partnership in the club’s history?

🎙️🇧🇷 Ricardo: “For me, it’s the strongest, there’s no debate. But it’s also the story of a team and the outstanding work done by Luis Enrique and Luis Campos. In any case, in terms of solidity, technique, complementarity, what they bring, it’s something very rare, even in Europe. Ours was a harsher football, without VAR, with fewer cameras. It’s something inexplicable. An Ecuadorian and a Brazilian get along better than two Brazilians. The Marquinhos-Thiago Silva pair? They’re part of the remontada…

🎙️🇫🇷 Alain Roche: “From the moment you win the Champions League and you have the chance to win another one, the place is already yours. It’s impossible to separate the mark left and the titles. Marquinhos is rewarded for his exceptional longevity (twelve years) . And Pacho, it’s simply stunning. He’s incredibly calm and dominant in duels. He reminds me of Ricardo in the serenity he exudes. I find them super complementary. A defensive partnership depends on the full-backs and midfielders, but also on your connection with the other. They’re hyper connected. Pacho has taught Marquinhos how to win, and Marqui has passed on all his experience to him. The Marquinhos-Thiago Silva pair? It’s one of the legendary partnerships. Already because it’s the one that stayed together the longest. But also because Thiago is an immense player, an example for all aspiring defenders. The difference is the winning mentality, simply put.”

  2. Not clicking this shit link, l’equipe shouldn’t even be allowed on this sub tbh

Just came here to say that while it didn’t last for long, Thiago Silva x Alex was pretty awesome. But given the fact we won UCL with Marqui-Pacho, hard to say another pair was better than them.

  3. Any pair with Pacho is the best one. Best cb in the history of PSG even though I love Marqui and Thiago
