  1. Lolo was great today, even after his sub he was animated and wanting to help out on the bench.

Think he works best with Italian coaches ha.

  2. I think we’d appreciate a lot of our players more if we had a properly structured squad. He has his faults like any player but he’s been done dirty by the chaos of the last couple seasons as well

If he could play full 90 today, I’m convinced we would have won. Palhinha can’t hold the ball + Madders could have come in for Xavi for the last 10 minutes if we had an available substitution

  4. Kinsky has also been spot on for these past games. Can pass, can come out and definitely is able to save.

He might be the gk we have been searching for so long.

Important for us, it frustrating for both him and us fans that he always seems to have lengthy injuries

  6. Thank you for the positive post, it’s a welcome alternative to the mass of negative posts that just don’t help at all

  7. I feel like I’m watching something completely different to most of you. Thought he was completely anonymous, Gallagher was awful too. Not saying the alternatives are better mind and that’s the problem.

As a Benta defender I’m always on the side that his poor performances are because we have a black hole in the midfield for the past 2 years. He’s a great player, but put him in a dysfunctional mess and he turns into prime Harry winks.

Unfortunately doesn’t matter when this team so is so bad we haven’t won a game in over 4 months.

  10. He’s what we’ve been missing that midfielder that’s gliding around and getting the ball up the pitch.

Good call with this thread! He looked great. Actually, I don’t remember him looking so confident/solid before the injury.

It’s funny how we can take a player for granted until they’re not there to do what they do. Hoping he can maintain today’s level!

  12. Was very good today, just a calming influence in the midfield. Didn’t want him to come off

Seriously what on earth was Frank doing with him?

He has his flaws, but it can’t be denied everything went truly downhill the moment he got injured earlier this season

  14. He was public enemy number 1 this season. Glad to see the fanbase flip flopping on yet another player

  15. He’s comfortably our best 8.

We likely wouldn’t be in this situation if he’d been available the past three months.

He’s not great but at his worst he’s a mediocre premier league player, compared to the championship level bergval and sarr bring (sorry not sorry) it’s an insane upgrade.
