I think we’d appreciate a lot of our players more if we had a properly structured squad. He has his faults like any player but he’s been done dirty by the chaos of the last couple seasons as well

As a Benta defender I’m always on the side that his poor performances are because we have a black hole in the midfield for the past 2 years. He’s a great player, but put him in a dysfunctional mess and he turns into prime Harry winks.

We likely wouldn’t be in this situation if he’d been available the past three months.
He’s not great but at his worst he’s a mediocre premier league player, compared to the championship level bergval and sarr bring (sorry not sorry) it’s an insane upgrade.
