If you put Billy Liddell (1922 with 228 goals in 534 apps) on the LW instead of Rio, you can put Dom (2000) in the middle over Hamann. This would free up the 1970s, which means you could play Carragher (78) or Hyppia (73) instead.
Would need a new RB though.

I like this, something a bit different to fritter away the nerves before the derby! I’d just like to make a couple of changes:
Swap Tom Brownlow (1919) at CB for Bob Paisley OBE (also 1919) in midfield
Swap Didi Hammann (1973) in midfield for Sami Hyypia (also 1973) at CB
It wasn’t intentional to have the exact same years, but I think Bob and Sami both have a bigger legacy at the club, and Bob can also double up as manager!
