I remember him as our most lethal shooter. I was very happy we finally had someone who simply realized our chances instead of wasting every single goal opportunity.
That being said, his last season and his antics really ruined my perception of him.

    Cough cough ~Wanda~ cough cough

  2. He was very good, the only decent thing during a good amount of time. A shame how it all ended.

  3. What I remember about him is that he faked an injury in order to pressure the club into giving him back the captain’s armband, which was taken from him when the club found out he was secretly negotiating with Juventus behind their backs like a snake and when the club found out that he was faking the injury he refused to play.

This is all he should be remembered about until the day he publicly apologizes. Then we can talk about his time at the club.

Lethal in the box. Reminded me of F Inzaghi at Milan, always in the right place to tap in a ball, but Icardi was more versatile in the box and less of a poacher.

He was a lot like Trezeguet, a ghost in build-up play, deadly in the box and with good technique.

Good as a striker and a player, but bad as a professional. Even before his last season when things truly went South he was not liked by the fans. I think that’s part of the reason why my second Inter’s jersey in my life was Kovacic’s and not his.

Say what you want about him, but he was the first world class player we had since the 2010 treble. I still remember back in the day when he arrived with Belfodil, Inter was at an all time low and Icardi was the beginning of the rebuild.

  8. Truly with him on the field, there was always a chance we’d score. As long as he was in the box, he could get the shot on target and usually with plenty of power. Shame he was a bit of a cunt

He ruined his career marrying and making Wanda Nara his agent. She’s hot though ngl

  10. **Good things: **

    – he scored a lot, he was an old style striker, who was capable of disappearing for 80 minutes, and score 2 goals in 3 opportunities.

    – in his last good time with Spalletti he started to play a little more with the team. he and Lautaro could have been a good duo, but not in Spalletti’s 4231

    – he was a great penalty scorer, and despite being just 181 cm, he was great at headers, he had a great timing

    **Bad Things:**

    – not a great team player in his playing style

    – not a great team player in his relationship with teammates

    – his wife, Wanda Nara is the worst manager we dealt with, ever

    – he spent his last season being unprofessional, unreliable, exaggerating an injury, etc.

very limited striker.. the whole team was built on him.. he had his moments but we gave him more than he could give to us.. and than he just faught with the fans

  12. Very much an old-school No. 9 type in an era where you didn’t see players like him as often, with an incredible instinct for goal. Also just an enormous prick. If we’d had a better team around him and he wasn’t the kind of guy who seems to piss off and alienate everyone around him, sky would’ve been the limit.

Limited but very good and effective goal scorer. His terrible player ethic and the vacancy he left after his departure arguably gave us our Captain. Lautaro is well-suited than him to modern football.
