Love seeing Amy Lawrence cut through the noise proper balanced voice in a sea of overreactions. Football discourse needs more of this calm clarity.

  2. Yeah this rant makes a lot of sense….. if we win.

Otherwise what was the point of watching some of the most uninspiring football from Arsenal these past 5 years

Agree with the sentiment but I also think it’s a bit disingenuous to mention the other PL teams who were knocked out by superior teams. Only City and Real Madrid was a 50/50. Had Spurs, Newcastle, Chelsea or Liverpool got through their ties it would have been considered a huge surprise.

Honestly, Amy Lawrence saying what many fans think noise around Arsenal gets louder than the actual football sometimes.

she’s completely right. too many entitled, emotionally fragile fans in the fanbase. thank you Amy

  6. I’m happy to hear some people with an actual voice in the community see what’s going on amongst the fans and speak up about the delusion. Thanks for posting this.

I have no problem playing ugly but winning. Of course we want to win and that is the most important thing. Give me Grundy shit football, all the corner kick goals you can, I do not give a fuck. Just win.

What’s getting me down is that we are playing poorly AND we are not winning (in the league, the priority). If we play like we have been playing against City on Sunday, it’s really hard to see us winning or even drawing (I see us getting pumped).

If we lose Sunday, I think that’s it for the league. And that’s really frustrating.

I do not want us to lose but right now I don’t see how we can win.

Yeah. I mentioned this the other day and got downvoted to oblivion. Thanks for uploading it. Now off to see the comments. I wonder what I’ll find…

  9. It felt like trying to cover up the poor play at the moment with the results and both are important. For example, if City was playing poorly right now, there would be much less worry given the results we have accumulated thus far and clearly that is not the case.

    Absolute FACTS.

A very LARGE portion of this sub and the Arsenal FC sub need their heads checked.

I think the moaning is because there’s no belief we can turn any of this into trophies. It’ll be the fourth year in a row where we’ve finished second, been as good as we have been and have nothing to show for it. It’s maddening.
