I’m not entirely defending Rosenior but I do feel for him that his entry point was not ideal at all.

This sounds like getting excuses in early to me. There’s still a lot to play for and we are probably going to miss out on the Champions League. He has half a season and “give me a pre-season” doesn’t cut it when the stakes are so high.

I think he can be good but not what we need now. He is like Lampard from before

There was a video of Rosenior chatting to media and Palmer was watching him and smiling along with the bants..he seems to like him

  5. I would like nothing more than to be proved wrong but the football has regressed under him.

Strong end to the season required.

It’s just jarring that THIS is the guy they’re apparently backing to the hilt instead of Tuchel, Poch and Maresca.

  7. Mentality issues aside, these are pro players. So I do believe that most of them quickly figure out if a coach is good or not. Does it necessarily translate to the field? No. No idea what he’s actually doing at the training ground but I’m in no place to disagree with someone like Cole regarding training/coaching ability. As for on field results…

  8. I’d love nothing more than to be completely wrong about Rosenior.

So, I hope Palmer is right here; and proves us all wrong

  9. This notion of “give him a pre-season” etc. has got to be some BS. I’m not saying pre-season is useless but c’mon to act like he can’t get his tactics across solely because they haven’t had a pre-season, like wtf y’all doing during trainings?
I also get that tactics can take a bit of time to truly imbed into the players but Rosenoir’s system ain’t distinctly different to Maresca’s so the foundation is already there. Now it’s just more the smaller details that separate them is where the work needs to be done.

  10. God so that implies it’s Rosenoir next year aswell confirmed then… see you in 27/28 boys

  11. I mean, what is he supposed to say in an interview? That he hates his coach and that he is shit? PR or not, this means nothing honestly

  12. I have been saying this. If we watch the games in terms of gameplay Rosenior > Maresca. You guys will see that with time.

  13. All these quotes are from the Guardian interview btw. Of course Romano is breaking it all done and tweeting each individual sentence of it.

Palmer’s got caught in the BlueCo strings too. No way Mr Chippy Chips is ever talking like this, especially after all the false promises and mistreatment from the owners.

    BLUECO OUT🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

    LEAVE THE PLAYERS ALONE🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵

  15. Pre season helps but a top manager comes in and cracks on. It does not define a season. With it being a World Cup year as well there’s an easy excuse for why it’s ‘not gone to plan’ for next season either.

  16. Ah yes, a favourable presser mere hours before a protest march – this has got to be purely coincidental.

And now this sub is defending Rosenior kind of funny how easy you all are to change your opinions.
