He did great his first two seasons, now he needs to rest at least a week between matches, like the late Handanovic, to have a good match.

I’ll add to this point, for everyone saying Cagliari didn’t do shit so it was an easy game: the two times Martinez cleared the ball outside of the box, Iam 100% sure Sommer wouldn’t have done that, leaving Cagliari with a potential 1-1 situation. Sure, our defence prevents a lot of shots, but having a goalkeeper that is more reactive, proactive and can save a shot is quite nice, even if he’s not freaking Pelé with his feet. Cause that’s the most important requirement now apparently.
