Those talks will hopefully be short: “pay up or fuck off!”

Barca, who can buy Rashford for £26million under the terms of the deal, have been paying his salary in full but it will go back up to £315,000-a-week next season if United qualify for the Champions League.
Barcelona would like to keep him and have made a failed bid to renegotiate the £26m fee with United who are refusing to budge on the clause which expires on June 15 – four days after the World Cup kicks off in North America.
The two clubs are set to step up talks after the end of the season, and there is a possibility that Barca will propose another loan for Rashford next season.
United have the option of bringing him back to Old Trafford, where he spent his entire career before joining Aston Villa on loan last season, or negotiating with other clubs in the Premier League and Europe.
However, it seems unlikely that he would be able to resurrect his United career despite Ruben Amorim – the head coach who dumped him into a ‘bomb squad’ last summer – being sacked in January.

United holding firm at £26m is the right move. After 25 goal contributions in Spain, his market value is easily closer to £40m-£50m now. No more cut-price favors for European giants.

As long as his future remains actually “up in the air” – perhaps fired out of a cannon or a catapult of some kind – then all will be good. Just anywhere but here – I just don’t want to see him on the pitch in a red shirt, strolling around half heartedly. I’ve seen enough of that for one lifetime

United must be firm with their stance with Barca, and even more firm with Rashford.
Show the football world that United meant business now, either Barca pays up for him and there is no way back for Rashford. Burnt the bridge at United, the only way is to leave.

If Barcelona won’t pay the agreed price, I’d rather keep him or see him go elsewhere for less. 26m is such a low price already, fuck them if they don’t want to pay

Hope we sell him. Don’t want him anywhere close to the team.
