Alejandro Moreno put this the best, " I sure as hell like watching Barcelona a whole lot better than I do Arsenal. And for any neutral outside of the Arsenal fans, they enjoy watching Barcelona a whole lot better than you do Arsenal".

I've been watching Barcelona since 1990. Anyone who has watched them for long enough will have no hesitation in saying that Flick's brand of football is on par with the club's most watchable eras and this is despite the severe financial handicaps he faces in the transfer market. I (and hopefully all of you) follow Barcelona because of a certain brand of football, for which our entire youth setup and Barcelona B prepare players in a certain mold. The major upside of this philosophy is that we can only afford to be protagonists in games, making other teams to adjust accordingly. There's a lot of talk about pragmatism, but anyone who's been with us long enough knows where it landed us against Roma and Liverpool in the Champions League.

Lets thank Hansi for his courageous and watchable style of football, which is earning us recognition and fans worldwide despite all the restraints!

Here is the whole clip. Cheers!

  1. Ya like losing champions league sucked but its been such a joy to watch this team the last two seasons and I cant wait for next champions league

  2. That is not enough anymore, i love enjoying every match again cause god knows that was hard under Xavi ( i love him too). Its pretty clear at this point Flicks obsession with the offside trap will cost us every CL campaign. Look at how good Bayern and PSG defend despite playing with a high line as well. The difference is their defenders dont stop to pray the opponents are offside, but flick tells our players to defend forward every single time which is extremly predictable and that costs us the same goal every single game and it will not get better and he wont change that so unfortunately the CL will remain a dream as long as hes our coach. I hope he stays for 1 more season and then we get Lucho whos already familiar with a lot of our core players

People who don’t understand the job of a manager when they blame Hansi Flick.

A manager manages the game so that the team creates more winning chances than they allow the opponents. That’s exactly what Hansi does. But he does not have control of individual mistakes like giving away red cards, ref errors or not finishing clear chances.

Hansi Flick is doing a solid job at FC Barcelona right now.. more attractive football, more goals, more engagement, and it shows. Defense has been surprisingly strong too.. Gerard Martín and Eric García stepping up big time.

Yeah, we’ll concede, maybe see some reds.. but the identity is clear and exciting. Back the system, stay motivated, and adding more pace at the back will only make it better.
