Been waiting for this ever since I saw the video
Youri is just gone π

John did his job, he made unai aware. Unai did his job as well.
Edit also, give that ref, it wasn't a daft question
Youri always strikes me as being like a big kid. He's got that schoolboy look about him. When he cracked up laughing it was exactly like a kid at school trying to keep it together in front of the headmaster and failing. Classic.
Thank God Townley brought it up tbf. No yellows. All down to John.
thumbnail belongs in the louvre
Laughter is the best medicine. Well played Agent Townley for lowering Yuri's cortisol levels at this stressful time of the season. Job well done
50 shades of Beetroot comes to mind, but tbf to John, Unai did it with a smile, no malice from the gaffer. βπ»ππ
In the moment, I think John (as would I have) gone a very bright shade of claret – so funny mind! Respect John!!!
It was a fine question to ask
Questioning skills have disappeared in recent years! Well done, John, for asking a relevant question and getting a proper response.
It was a good question John π
Townleys Ratner moment. A promising career, shot down in its prime.
This pod wasnt a mistake UTV
Unai knew we needed to finish Bologna off, even a 2 goal lead isn't comfortable in a European game. He obviously told the players who were on yellows to be careful. And the ref giving soft fouls everytime a Bologna player fell over their laces was a bit worrying in the first half.
It's a risk you have to take sometimes, we needed a strong 11 to put the tie away, and by HT the game was done and the lads put in a professional display and I think there was only 1 booking in the whole game, to a Bologna player for pulling Onana down.
Absolute fair play ti John for taking it so well π UTV.
Nice one John. That was Golden
It was so funny π the shade from unai
Probably sees the negative crap John writes sometimes π

Made me laugh John, do something similar on sunday please – keep it going
Emery's answer and subsequent selection wasn't only telling for last nights match, I think it's telling for the rest of the season. What I get from it is that he feels he can go full strength in all the remaining matches this season. If we've mathematically qualified for the CL in the league before Liverpool lets say, then we might see changes if we make the Europa final. Besides that circumstance though, I think he's going all in.
He cant reveal his line up the day before
Emerys favourite phrase " Auditive" any ideas what this means in his footie context. The dictionary says "relating to the sense of hearing"
It was a good question, Unai just chose violence π
Youri was definitely thinking thatβs the Louieville guy again π
One of the podcast you've done the whole family was laughing heads off well done both of you, Wish we could have seen John's face as headmaster Emery was telling him off brilliant brilliant well done thanks.πππ
Classic π
what's with all the editing on this?
My respect for JT as a Villa fan & journo continues to grow. Good question and you had a point – remember the loss of Kamara in FACup. Great episode.
In Emery speak, βmistakeβ means βstupidβ, but the question needed to be asked.
