He also dismissed the idea of Arsenal going to the Etihad to play for a draw, something he has previously been criticised for: “We prepare every game to win, that’s why we are where"

COYG! This is my manager fogging mentality i love it. Time to fire Etihad .

  2. I genuinely want to win 1-0. Gabriel header off a corner in the 90th minute.

    It’ll hit like crack.

  3. He’s right, but this City team is not even close to the best team this league has seen.

  4. I’ll be honest, I felt we got humiliated at Wembley with the way Cherki acted. Not so much the juggling but for rolling around the floor then posing for the camera and taking a selfie in front of the Arsenal team and staff after lifting the trophy.

It’s too much disrespect from one person

  5. Their offense is firing on all cylinders right now, so i pray Arteta’s gameplan is to do more than take the brunt and hope they can’t score. We got an attack too. COYG

It doesnt have to win big, its the 1-0 injury time goal that hits like crack. Big Gabi dunk on rodri or little rat bernardo.

We haven’t beaten City at Etihad in 10 years. Just stack every player on the line like Tetris blocks and let them open fire target practice for 90’.

It is the right time to finally stop the 11 years no win at etihad we need to attack and be the hunters not the prey

Well they better play like they can’t wait for the game. I know we’re top of the league but please fucking show that there’s something left in the tank because it certainly doesn’t look like it lately.

So we shit on our own club for not being more forward minded. Then we get in the exact spot to almost put the season away, and everyone wants a draw and to sit back? This fucking fan base I swear. Dolts. COYG

We have to start on the front foot. If we’re under the cosh from the kickoff it will be a long night. It’s imperative we don’t concede an early goal

  12. I do not like this quote. Feels like the mindset is that we are at a disadvantage and should feel lucky if we win (earned, challenging, opportunity). Maybe reality, but not the mindset of a winner.

For a moment I read that as Arteta describing himself as the best manager the PL had ever seen and was astounded by the audacity ahaha.

«Best team and the best manager» I like this talk – let’s put the pressure on them for a change

  15. Biggest game in over a decade.

Has the potential to make or break us not only this year, but next year too.

Arteta needs to check himself. The best manager the league has ever seen retired in 2012 and he didn’t need to cheat or be backed by an entire oil rich country to amass 13 EPL titles.

There’s only one way we come out with a win here. It’s an early goal from corner.

I’d play Norgaard as a separate DM for the first hour to chase and hassle Cherki all day. We need to shut him down, he’s their match winner for sure. Doku has to be constantly doubled up on also. There are other threats but those and obviously Haaland are the ones we need to really lock down.

It’s honestly hard to see where our goals come from on Sunday. I don’t think there’s any point lumping the ball into Donnarumma’s area, he’ll pluck those out of the air all day.

  19. I want a controversial last min pen that Gyokeres slots in for the win. Need to give those cheaters a taste of their medicine.

Let’s have a proper go at them, play to win it and with some zest, and if we come out of there with a draw I will consider that a triumph.
