colwill is a difficult one. i don’t think he deserves a better contract, but i would hate to see he at another club especially if he becomes world class.

– caicedo during Poch suicidal defense setup season
– Enzo as a 6 having to screen and defend transitions
– Reece isn’t great in midfield receiving with his back to goal

Gusto for all his flaws does have a lot of strengths and is an important player for us. we need runners and he is a great one. his one on one defending is underrated. and we know that we can’t count on Reece to play consistently and especially not 50+ games a year.
He is clearly a premier league level player. even is he’s not a WC fullback he is a fantastic player to have in the squad #stopgustohate

I don’t think anyone deserves a contract. Colwill needs to bring himself back to his old level. Enzo has done well, but he is not unreplaceable. Both enzo and gusto should be transfered
Colwill hasn’t shown enough yet imo, and it would be silly to offer improved terms following a serious injury like he had. He knows how to pass but his defending is still dodgy

Enzo leaving would feel like a complete restart of the process. Instead of Palmer FC we become ‘injured Palmer FC’ but with a division 2 manager.
