Eddie Howe on Bruno Guimarães: “There is a chance he can be fit for the weekend. We have seen him in training, he is pushing hard to be involved, he is desperate to help the team, desperate to be involved. So, there is a possibility, I will make a decision off the back of training today.”

  1. I would not play him as it would be pointless to risk him when we have nothing to play for. Getting into Europe would just mean that we would not be allowed to spend as much due to UEFA rules.

Even if all he can manage is a cameo, his presence on the bench will be massive. We desperately need leadership and he is seemingly the only one capable of that.

  3. It’s been so long since a player bled black and white like he does.
No player is bigger than the club, but he’s as near as damn it

So he’s at best half fit?

Don’t even consider him then! I’m sick of players “coming back” ahead of schedule just to then break down in the near future.

I really don’t think we can sell him this summer at any cost, we’ve all seen how shite we are without him, and of we dont replace him properly I dread to fucking think what would happen. Need him back to get any respectability out of this car crash season

  6. Is mumps the same as glandular fever where there’s a specific risk with one or more organs? Because if it’s something like that and he’s genuinely been cleared then great.

If it’s risking him when he isn’t there yet, no thank you.

  7. if him being around got us even just one extra win or two it actually would make a crazy difference to our season

Do not play him this weekend. Do not ruin his chances of probably his last world cup as a starter for Brazil. We need him back in the team but we also need to take a zero risk approach on him

Season started derailing when we lost Schar… The season ended when we lost Wor Bruno 😔
