The match started with a 4th minute goal by Raheem sterling, then two goals back to back by Son heung min in the 7th and 9th minute with Bernardo Silva scoring in the 11th followed by sterling in the 21st. Furthermore in the second half, Sergio aguero scored in the 59th minute to make it 4-2 however Fernando llorente scored in the 73rd minute to make it 4-3 scoring the winning goal after sterlings winner in the 94th minute was ruled out.
