I mean its safe to say the problem is within the team, not the coaches. Too many egos and having two or three players literally having a free pass to not defend at all is literally one of the biggest liabilties you can give yourself, especially against the best offense of the world Bayern has right now

It would not have been better with him.

Well, you can watch a couple of games from this season with him and you won’t miss him anymore. Best example would be the the Supercup againts Barca. Played like a weak mid table team. Had like 25% possession in the first half. Shameful performance the whole game. After a preseason, a cwc and a half competitive season with the team, no idea, no structure, no tactics. That’s what people want back.

Half of this sub would switch to Barca if they witness the pre la decima Real Madrid. Spoiled impatient glory hunters
Why? He didn’t win any trophies with them, didn’t win many if any big matches, won some matches, lost some, and drew others. If we are talking about greats, then lets talk about Ancelotti. I miss him.

It was the right man but at the wrong time.
Florentino only gives power to the manager when we’re in the worst possible situation.
Had Xabi waited another season he could’ve come with more power.
But our UCL wins were too recent and Flo didnt even like Xabi as a person (he never forgot Xabi leaving for Bayern).
And still i doubt the next manager will get full support. I fear Florentino gonna need yet another trophyless season before giving up on Vinicius and Mbappe and trusting a new manager to rebuild the team.
Next months are gonna be interesting, im curious about what Flo will leak to his usual mouthpieces.

Ancelotti would have been better than using Xabi.

I don’t think Xabi could do anything with this unbalanced, too much drama and ego team.

Funny how people created this fairy tale with Xabi.
First thing a successful manager needs to do is have control of the dressing room. If you can’t do that in a club like Madrid, then you’re already not fit for the job.
Yes, he can be a tactical mastermind that took Leverkusen to a undefeated league, but how many managers have we seen in the past that were extremely successful in certain clubs and terrible at others?

I don’t think Alonso would have performed any better. He was clearly not a good fit. Arbeloa wasn’t the answer either. They need a reputable hard ass like when mourinho came in the last time. Don’t think mourinho is it this time. Just an example.
