It was an amazing achievement last season, but Kompany was right in his recent press conference. They had a lot of injuries, and even so, they missed many chances. Again, it was something incredible, but we were very lucky, and imo we wouldn’t win in a tie against a full-strength Bayern, even if Inzaghi were still here.

I am surprised that nobody mentions how Bayern players celebrated Camavinga’s red card.

I am happy we have such a good record against them in the knockouts. But I have to say: I really respect Bayern fans. For a team that big, they are really good. Great atmosphere. And I remember last year after we beat them, they made a few posts congratulating us (and then again congratulating us for beating Barca).
Compare that to Barca fans … they were crying and bitching in *our* sub for weeks after. Even in the posts about them being out of the CL this year, there are still many of them writing their stupid stuff and crying.
