I can’t wait for the utter lack of a response the board will give

I truly appreciate the time/energy the Trust took in writing this open letter, putting pen to thoughts many of us share. Quite a shame that no one that matters in the club hierarchy will likely read it.

Things like this are just as annoying as the current state of the team. Stop going to games it’s really that simple if you want to effect change. Anything else is theater

BlueCo: noted. We will not buy any 17 years old kid. Instead we will go for experience. Here’s the 18 years old players from France.

Finkelstein will read this and throw it in the trash. Can’t you all see we are building the best team?

American here. The whole idea of a supporter’s trust is completely foreign to me. I had no idea they existed. Are you guys part of the trust? KTBFFH

All of this is copium. To make ourselves feel like we’re doing something. Fwiw, I’m up for protests and moves like these, but our owners, and the entire board is full of cunts. They won’t even read this. Let alone respond in any way

This ownership group treats “the project” like it’s proprietary intellectual property and they’re scared other clubs will steal the model. Well that’s not happening guys, so let’s communicate the vision and maybe, just maybe, reassess the strategy.

this is straight up poorly written tbh. they repeat the same “this is not about some current results but the overall direction” point like 3 times
almost everything else is vaguely alluded to except the protest bit too. mention how they can’t get a FoS sponsor for 4 years? how many managers we went through despite being fed lies that this is some kind of 4d chess long-term project? how many times we’ve been lied to through the media? why the fuck do we know NOTHING about the stadium yet? how many players we got told were data-led signings and got fucking booted after half a season? how many good players we missed out on because of some shitty wage cap?
nah, let’s ask some generic gpt question like if they accept the supporter level confidence instead, that’ll show them

I am glad we are seeing something like this… I love the club and hope to see us do better… That said, I wish this were not so poorly written, and on top of that, there is a lot of gesturing and not enough substance. If you strip out the fluff, there’s just about a page of real content.

There was a time when writing letters to the club could have been impactful, but that’s well in the past. Too much money in the game now. Frustrating, but it is what it is.

Let the people in charge do their things…the Chelsea Supporters Trust should stick to attending matches or choose a new team.

Trust issues?! Is this marriage counseling?! I know things haven’t worked out the last of years with rosters management and results on the pitch. You’re making this too personal on a rough patch . Management are going to make adjustments to recruiting and move accordingly.

They’re leeches and it won’t fucking change.
Private equities (at least the trend in the US) is to buy up companies/brands, introduce some changes (good or bad doesn’t matter), restructure the organization or people within it to accommodate for the new board members, suck up as much money as you can, and then declare bankruptcy or sell it to the next fool.
I expect us to slightly follow Leicester’s trajectory, but hope we bottom out maaaybe fighting in the relegation zone before turning shit back around.
*big sigh*

It’s so funny that supporters think this private equity firm cares this much about one of their brands.

BlueCo: We don’t have any words and we know you don’t want to hear them.
We understand your anger, your frustration, your sadness. Everything you’re feeling – we get it.
This isn’t the ending we imagined, and certainly not the one we wanted. Thank you for being there the entire way.
