100% the right call. This playing group has no confidence and heaping extra pressure on them just doesn’t seem helpfull at all. It didnt work for the Forest game so we have to try a different approach.

I actually think Artetas shown the whole “bring your dinner, each game is a cup final” thing is counter productive, and thats in a title race not a relegation battle. You need to keep the players calm, not put them more on edge by ramping up the prematch pressure. They are all fully aware of the situation

Didn’t work last time and put too much pressure on the players, good managerial decision

  3. This is the correct decision imo

The wording is a bit petulant by whoever is running/writing this too. Just get out the managers way and let him do what he needs to do.

The players usually always arrive in their own cars and stuff before the games anyway, I nearly got run over by Porro leaving the ground early this season. That bus thing for a home game was pretty much a one off. I’m not even entirely sure they were all on the bus that day either.

I’m guessing he wants to try and take some of the pressure off rather than adding it on in the hope he can get them playing better.

  5. Good. Whoever was looking to arrange this is completely out of touch with the club and what is going on at the minute.

  6. The players just need to actually turn up. Play our number 6 (Palhinha) and play our number 10 (Simons). Start from there.

Respect the manager’s decision. Sometimes I wonder if this group of players understand just what this club means to the proper supporters.

  8. To be fair the comeback against city was when the crowd was as meek as it could possibly be.

Maybe we should take the opposite approach and force the game behind closed doors haha

    This team… it’s hopeless

Good decision. Block out every external noise or sound, minimise external pressure as much as controllable.

  10. Not a massive surprise given the players are seemingly a bunch of fannies who can’t seem to handle any sort of pressure

  11. Celebrating these players arriving like they’re heroes when we see nothing but cowards week in, week out is madness. This is the correct decision

The right call. If it worked the first time sure go ahead. It didn’t move on.

I would quite like to not get relegated because I don’t want to be the butt of every football joke for the rest of my life and if RDZ thinks it put too much pressure on the players then bin the idea

  13. This I understand… But I’d love the club to bring back the 2-4-1 beer for an hour or two before the game. I got hammered at half the price and it made what was on display almost paletable.

Poor diddums, these players eh. Cant handle a crowd gathering as it might put a bit of pressure on them! I suggest if they cant, then we really are screwed.

What happens if we get beat then, without it? Do we revert to another coach meet?

Thank god. Cringey, embarrassing and forced as fuck welcoming this bunch of losers like that. They don’t deserve it.

It was bad enough before when this happened and Romero made that cringe Instagram post.

No other team needs this shit to win a football game, did Leeds have a parade before beating Man United? No
