Watching Diaz tonight continues to show what a shambles of a job that Hughes Edwards and Slot have done he was fabulous tonight and made me really sad to see the life and soul taken out of our club so many examples of their continued incompetence

I’m the US version of a physio. A lot of that article makes a lot of sense. I’ve wondered for a long time since Slot came in about his training methods, especially since he was supposedly one of the best with player availability when at Feyenoord. Very curious about who/what changes were made to have such a reversal.
Thanks for the insight Craig. So basically it sound quite simple to understand, If you wany high intensive gave you have to do high intensitive training. Whats not to understand in that. So why are'nt the lads given it. You dont hace to be a brain surgen to understand that.

So basically being terrible at using a squad and throwing benched players into full on, defensively chaotic one off games, after low intensity training has a higher chance of muscle injury?
I would also guess that forcing players into unfamiliar positions at high intensity can cause injury. I remember when we played midfielders at centre back and they both got injured within a couple of games.

So what is it? Are the sports science and fitness teams at LFC incompetent? I cannot believe that anyone at the club wants to lose or get players injured, so it has to be incompetence right? How did Klopps team get such high levels of fitness into players compared to Slots team? Yes Klopps broke a lot of players too, but his high intensity style also garnered better results and a far more exciting style of play. Lets not forget, that despite the high wear and tear of his methods, only Citys cheating stopped Klopps regime from securing at least two more league titles.

With geniuses at the helm, I am surprised they couldn’t foresee RB position becoming a problem.
Bradley already had extensive injury concerns prior to this season. IMO, he should’ve been considered a luxury player whose availability cannot be relied upon, therefore forcing us to prioritize signing an additional RB. (Slot doesn’t even view Frimpong as a full-time RB, which makes the decision to only have Bradley as RB Slot trusts seem very irresponsible.
What makes the situation even worse is that we still look to Joe Gomez as cover for the entire backline when he struggles to maintain full fitness after starting a few games in a row.
The best ability is availability. Having an injury prone player as a backup for another injury prone player is a recipe for disaster.

I can't even believe that anyone can see anything but abject failure this season at LFC. Anyone who says otherwise must not be watching the same team. Slot definately has run out of ideas long time ago, but against PSG says it all. The first team line up seems like he just pulled names out of a hat. Why would you not play Rio and Salah first up. They scored againast Fullham so they would be full of confidence. Liverpool were 2 down before the kick off. You want the best team on the pitch at the start so you can score goals first half.
Sounds like from this Slot has turned the Liverpool team in to lazy players prone to injuries by not training hard enough. Prob sounds right that the Liverpool team ssems to be outrun by every other team in the EPL almost every match
