S/o to him. He was great today. He was taking risk and run into channels. Tried so many through balls even if all of them did not come off.

p.s: our players have one MOTM in each CL game this season. crazy stat lol

Looked a lot sharper tonight. Still convinced that his poor performances are down to fatigue or he’s playing through an injury. Nice to see that his teammates are supporting him though.

  5. Gyokeres going HAH I told you, and then Martinelli just pointing for a little too long before Noni runs over. These
    clowns! 😂

lol I almost went blind rolling my eyes so hard at the comments suggesting Zubi was a downgrade to Partey.

    Nice to see he agreed.

  7. Actually enjoyed Zubi in the box to box role today in the second half, seems Rice can’t move as much today

Zubi is a good midfielder. Our attacking front and style is the biggest detriment. When backs are when cms should be what can the cm really achieve? He can’t turn because the cam is crowded and if they are playing a low block the through ball is impossible. Our wingers are sultry and can’t do anything but mad sprint, sans Saka. The best our midfield looked was also during the period where didn’t even have a real striker in front of them. I think this roaming back shenanigans needs to end. I like backs getting in there to send crosses and cover far sides but a back sitting at the 18 and not cm or winger is blowing my mind. It drives me insane watching our midfield turn to nobody because the backs are covered and are definitely not skilled enough to turn guys like that.

TLDR: Zubi is fucking good has always been good, our entire midfield suffers because of play style and our attacking front line is abysmal.
