From Laporta – “It's unacceptable. Already in the first leg, we were not given a penalty [for a Marc Pubill handball] and [Pau Cubarsí] was sent off when it should only have been a yellow card because Giuliano [Simeone] did not have the ball under control.

"The referee made the right decision giving the yellow at first — but the VAR demanded a red card which really damaged our chances.

"The refereeing decisions have had a major impact on the tie. In the second leg, it was more of the same."

For the first complaint, UEFA responded this week saying the Catalan club's complaint was "inadmissible." Shouldn’t the governing body explain the rationale behind these and at least backup the the referees and VAR? Feels like there is no transparency

  1. Fuck off laporta, go cook up some more false promises for us getting back to 1:1 next transfer window.

I’m tired of thee populist politicians ruin my club.

If we end up spending 30m on rashford + high salaries while barely scrambling by financially without a good enough starting 11, we are totally fucked.

Yesterday the push on Olmo and Eric soft push on Sorloth. You have to be consistent if you want to give a red card for that push.

  3. I don’t mind this from the higher ups, I dislike it from Hansi / the players.

Hansi and the squad need to focus on what they can control and improve on that.

Laporta / etc can push back on this for a couple of reasons:

    – First, if they are ‘doing something’, then the squad can focus on the pitch. The presi has their back
    – Second, refs need to be held accountable for mistakes: that’s the only way they can improve. No witchhunt, but acknowledgement of mistakes and strategies to improve.

I don’t give a flying fuck what other fanbases think or say, we don’t have to believe in conspiracies to feel wronged

complaints are useless. What prevents them from screwing us up again and again?

These complaints have merits but to the rest of the world , it makes us look weak

  6. Good. I hope they keep screaming at them as much as possible, idk if it’ll change anything but it’s probably better than doing nothing and getting shafted.

I honestly don’t see the Bayern hype every year due to them smashing their domestic peers.
