Wasn’t a penalty. Didn’t even need to be looked at.

No, he’s clutching at straws but it’s unlikely to save his job.

Definitely key decisions and injuries have not helped

I got to watch Liverpool score an underserved last-minute winner against my club a couple of months ago, despite one of their players being two yards offside.
Said player dragged the centre-backs out of position and consequently played the eventual goalscorer onside, but VAR ruled it wasn’t influencing the play.
So, Slot can forgive me for giving as little a shit about this as he did about that one.

VAR goes against everyone..it’s not the technology it’s the people in charge of it and they have to make the game as questionable and inconsistent as they can to keep views so high.

The decision was wrong. The rule of the law suggests contact. There was! Not a Liverpool fan, however, that was ridiculous last night!

VAR helped them last week in Paris. It all balances out.

Did he comment on the game in paris?

You see I do have some sympathies with him over the VAR decision yesterday. It’s like us (Villa) with the decision against Brentford.
Firstly, it wasn’t a penalty. the ref clearly didn’t see it and panicked when the fans shouted. The right decision was made afterwards.
HOWEVER….VAR is not meant to be involved if there is contact, as the rules state they shouldn’t correct an on-field decision if there is clear contact. Likewise, with us, the ball was out, but it was about 3 phases earlier.
It just seems VAR sometimes intervenes, sometimes doesn’t and it’s a coin flip to if they do or hide behind the “we can’t” defence.
