This is where context is key.

Even though some aren’t happy as we are 6/3 points clear because we have to go away to the etihad, the club is clearly moving in the right direction. Albeit slower than we perhaps want.

    Don’t throw that away

  2. Back to back SFs and we will still not be happy. This fanbase will be the death of me. COYG!

  3. He’s capable of ending the season an all time post war great winning a European cup and league title. GG and BM won European trophies and league titles but never in same season.
He is more likely to end in disgrace winning nothing after throwing away numerous chances to go twelve clear of city.

What a pivotal moment for club.

Shit or bust, all or nothing and usually we end up folding and ending up with nothing.

I don’t know if anyone has heart to go again next with with this group of players and this manager.
They throughly deserve to win major trophies here and have been desperately close.

It would be criminal for this group to break up with nothing.

  4. If people count this as an achievement then Wenger war right about top 4 being a trophy lol

Time to blindly back the lads regardless of what you feel about the most recent performances. COYG

think a big reason why a lot of people are so stressed is because we haven’t turned up in “make or break” situations since Mikels took over, No big european ties we turned around, no domestic cup ties we’ve turned around, no title races we’ve lead and managed to win

until a few weeks ago it felt like we were in a comfortable position to win the league, but after the efl cup loss, barely anythings been going well and suddenly we’re back in a title race against a club who just whooped our asses in said final

I think that’s why stats like these are so difficult to enjoy now, because there isnt any confidence that it will actually lead to anything

  7. A good performance and result could change the momentum and confidence just at the right time

The progress is undeniable, even if the path forward feels tense. Grabbing this chance to make history would be a huge statement. Let’s hope the team can channel that pressure into the performance we all know they’re capable of. This is exactly the kind of momentum we need to build on.
