Before Clarke announces his final World Cup squad he as to provide 55 names to FIFA that would include his back up names. He joked in one of his last press conferences that he would be the 55th name in the squad. I’ve put together what I think is a fairly comprehensive list of names that have either been in previous squads or have been linked with call ups that I’ve been trying to track over the last few months. I’ve not even counted if there are 55. Interested to hear other people’s opinions…

Harvey Barnes? I thought he said no already
The 55 names thing seems really daft. Like a lot of them will know they have fuck all chance of making it. Seems like it just has potential to unsettle a lot of players.
Jack Fletcher and Harvey Barnes have both committed to England so they won’t be included
Karamoko Dembele, did he not already commit to England as well?
Robbie Ure has said he has chosen Scotland and has been in the U21’s so no need for the *Ukraine!
May as well see if Yamal has any Scottish roots while we’re at it
