I’m not a rosenior out guy, but this was aided by a much easier fixture run than we have right now

So we have 22 big chance missed but expected goals difference is only +9.84?

Unfortunately stats mean nothing without the results. We need to win games. We have not been doing that. We need to be better.

What about “reckless CB pushing up instances” stats?
What about “falls for every press bait like it’s 2021”?
The issue with Rosenior is that his player profiling isn’t even bad, it’s all the shit principles he insists on that were found out off his Strasbourg footage before he even landed in London. Of course if you cherrypick stats like that they’ll look good, but these are meaningless in the bigger picture.
We’ve been stuck in a “get the ball a lot and waste chances” loop since Potter/Poch, am I supposed to be impressed by any of the numbers on the image?

My bigger problem with him were highlighted by the fact that I saw no change in tactics even after going behind.
If anything it looked like he kind of gave up as soon as we conceded along with the players.

So, Graham Potter all again?

Any stat in world football that starts with a prefix “x” is absolutely bogus – the bottom line for clubs of this stature is trophies won. Arsenal are a prime example of a team so hyperfixated on improving statistical possibilities to score goals that they became set-piece merchants, with limited ability to score from open play. Every single Arsenal fan agrees that we were outplayed by Bournemouth last week, yet statistically, they had a higher xG. Their fixation with this nonsensical data that disregards qualitative and emotional aspects of the game is why, ever since Arteta came to the club, they have won exactly one major trophy while actual football coaches and not PE teachers have been winning trebles and league titles every season.

The team has kept 2 clean sheets under Rosenior since January if you ignore opponents below the PL level (Cup Championship/L1 opponents). They came against Brentford and Pafos. The team kept 2 in December alone under Maresca (Everton, Bournemouth)

Perfect record under Yes Man! Being Brighton 2.0 in 6th place is a great result!
