I’m sure this isn’t a new notion but it kind of hit me yesterday.

All three at the front of our attack have similar stories of being counted out overlooked.

Kane – Tottenham background. Seen as a great striker but someone that couldn’t win anything for club or country.

Olise – Phenomenal talent now, yes. Best winger in the world, imo. At 19, he was play for the Championship club. This isn’t Yamal we’re talking about – gaining Club/country reps at 18/19. Olise took a while to get seen at this level.

Diaz – Another late bloomer. At 28 – Liverpool decided he wasn’t worth the money. Let him go – he INCREDIBLY underpaid btw. His wages there were disrespectful.

This is why we succeed. The best front three in football includes three guys that were either overlooked, ridiculed for not winning, or seen as not worth the investment.

It’s why they bleed the way they do for that Bayern shirt. They appreciate where they are and they know we appreciate them.

Let’s get this W on Wednesday, folks.

Bayern is notorious for acquiring players who might be struggling elsewhere and give them tools to become the best version of themselves. In Olise’s case though he was already recognized as a major talent at Crystal Palace. Everyone knew how good he was we just lucked out with an affordable deal.
