It's incredible how this player has transformed. Before, he was already a good player, but he missed too many chances, and now he's a Ballon d'Or winner and one of the best players in the world.
I remember wanting wenger to sign him for arsenal before he signed for dortmund from rennes. Wenger did so much for the club but really held us back at the end esp when we had some money to afford transfers, it's like he'd held us together for so long by being frugal he just couldn't break out the mold. Him and alexis and a world class DM instead of the likes of coquelin would've been chaos under Le Prof.
