Nizaar Kinsella: Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi is exploring his Premier League options. Chelsea are looking at adding physicality, which makes a move less likely to Stamford Bridge, but they had previously shown an interest.

I can’t wait for physical 16 y.o CB from South America.

Senesi literally smoked Gyokeres couples days ago. It’s not that much but already better than all our CBs bar Levi

What kind of excuse is this? Senesi is not physical enough?

I am 100% sure Senesi just said no to them.

The guy is literally known for his aerial threat, winning duels and passing ability. He will complement Colwill so well. And he’s a composed and experienced CB.

Would have been a good back option for Levi, but not a partner. Need someone who covers the ground and air.

More PR. The actual scenario? BlueCo offered a joke wage and Senesi told them to get fucked.

Im sure we got rejected and they are spinning more bs about sum physicality nonsense when he’s good on the ball a threat in the air n could prolly be our best defender bar levi

wow have Clearlake actually made the correct decision for once.

he’s not good aerially, so that could be the physical element they’re referring to.

maybe he rejected them, who knows or cares, his experience would have been good, but we need players who can win headers.

Senesi made our Brock Lesnar wannabe striker cry off the pitch with a sore arm last time we played them. Another mouthpiece article distancing ourselves from an obvious purchase.

Of course they aren’t interested.Watch the club bring in a teenager in the summer

  10. I don’t massively mind missing out on Senesi if we do. He’s not an elite player, and should never be brought in to be more than backup really.

The worry about physicality is genuinely fair. Him and Levi as a duo would worry me in that regard.

But the problem is we realistically need two centre backs. But I don’t trust our scouts to find them.

He’ll be a free agent so we’d probably have to pay him more than £2.50 a week.

Would I like Senesi on a free? Yes

Is Senesi a game changing defender? No

Am I bothered if Chelsea don’t get Senesi? Not really

Am I happy to hear/see an emphasis on physicality? Yes

  13. UPDATE from Nizaar: understand Chelsea are not expected to move to Senesi. Would point to Rosenior’s comments about physicality and that would likely bring a better partner for highly regarded Levi Colwill when he’s back.
