I don’t get it. I think a challenge the team faces is having so many players that have put in great shifts for us many times, but have little transfer value now: schar, trippier, krafth, pope, big joe, little joe etc. It’s been a while since nufc has had players it could sell, with value, while we could afford to let them go re: squad strength.
I guess we do have a dozen or so players with 50M or more transfer value though…

Well it tells us the Premier League is overpowered if 12 of the top 20 of the clubs on this list are PL clubs, and that Spurs’ underperformance almost takes the heat off how much we’re underperforming

That a) too many people take Transfermarkt figures as gospel, and b) transfer fees have never been the measure of value anyway.
