Do you think Bayern should invest in more screens?
Many new top stadiums in Spain, England and the USA feature impressive screen installations. What do you think if Bayern would fit something like this in the Allianz Arena?
If I wanted more screens I would’ve watched the game from home
Imo if they want to invest in something in the future, would be nice to add more seats (if the infrastructure allows it ofc)

Fuck no. Are we a wrestling stadium? Keep it as it is

Absolutely not

Kinda looks like an American stadium that way, don’t you think? And that’s fine, I watch a fair bit of that too. Just not the right vibe for European football imho.

The should do red seats only first…. the grey sections are very sad if the stadium is empty
Edit: And no… please no big or too many screens…

If you’ve ever been to the Allianz, you’d know this is a silly question. It’s already one of the best stadiums in Europe, and this rendering isn’t even accurate for the layout of the roof.

if i want to watch the match on screens i dont go into the statium and just watch the match at home

Honestly, I do not like the look. As others here already said, you can stay at home for that, the game is on the pitch. I woulg agree with the “more seats request”.
Here a comment from Jürgen Muth, CEO of the Allianz Arena GmbH, from 2025:
The capacity of the Allianz Arena is likely to remain unchanged: stadium director explains why:
‘Expanding the capacity would mean we could no longer cope with the existing structure. In other words: it would be an effort that, in my opinion, would be out of all proportion to the expected number of spectators,’ explained stadium director Jürgen Muth in an interview with the Abendzeitung München.
Muth goes on to say: ‘An additional fourth tier would raise the stadium by 15 metres, which – regardless of whether planning permission were granted – would also compromise the quality of the seating.’
The stadium managing director also highlights another problem: “Of course, we would have to assess whether such a figure would even be compatible with the transport infrastructure. There is only one underground line and road capacity is also limited.”
For this reason, Muth currently sees ‘no significant capacity expansion beyond 75,000’.

The 2 existing stadiums are big enough. You can see Everything very well on them. Don‘t fix it if it ain‘t broken

1. That looks ugly
2. We don‘t need this in our Stadium

To distract from the game?
Of course, who needs to watch the pitch when you can have yet another screen in your life?

We , in RM, we spent 1.4 billion on that Sardine can .. and what we got in return? Nothing! A terrible pitch , and no reinforcements for the squad and we will probably be out of CL against the team we used to terror.. Spending money on this childish things won’t do u any good.. I’d rather spend then on academy players or in charity

I don’t think it’s needed. Amazing atmosphere as is.

Yes, and add 60-second ads every 2 minutes. Oh and show some Subway Surfers footage simultaneously.

In my opinion these things can improve experience at the stadium:
1. Designated zones for smoking and vaping and enforcement of these rules. I hate standing next in line with someone who puffs in such a crowded place.
2. Maybe some sort of turn-styles in the toilets? The current idea is very practical: each toilet room is built like a corridor. It has one entrance and once exit and theoretically the crowd must move in one direction. Very effective. The problem is that in some of them people try to get inside on entrances AND on exits, block them and as a result all the pissoirs are free, but there are huge crowds trying to get in and out.
3. An attempt to organize queues for the food stands and make separate ones for Pfandrückgabe? Especially on the top level there isn’t much space and it is very difficult to walk by because of the crowd that is blocking the whole passage.
The new TV screens I see as unnecessary, the ones we have are good enough. Your example is just terrible. Too American for my taste.

Da würde ich eher das Geld in einen vierten Ring für weitere ~20.000 Zuschauer investieren…

Who cares about the screens? I’m looking at the pitch after all.
I don’t think anybody gives a damn about the attempted “Americanisation” of an iconic German football stadium that’s being proposed here.
