Will his yellow and red cards and suspension liability be reset for the next season, and does it make a difference what league he is playing in?

  2. I think (god I know its the hop that kills you) – this could be a turning point, keep it simple, Danso in the back

Of course it’s the perfect amount of games to miss the rest of the season but will be prime and ready for the world cup.

    Only Tottenham gets to suffer.

    Ugh man

I know people dont like him but he was our best player bar maybe kinsky yesterday, big loss

  5. For once I’m going to see this as a positive. Romero can be a bit of liability so at least we no longer have this ticking timebomb hanging around like a bad smell.

Let’s be honest here, his heart is not really in it, and now neither are his limbs. DANSO IN, I guess,. He may not be as good as Romero, but at least he gives all that he’s got. Or will RDZ come up with something creative.

  6. My first reaction to him going off yesterday wasn’t one of despair for our plight, he’s fully a liability in my mind and better off without him. Might not be true but I’ve had it with him.

No need for the tears then it would seem, will be ok for the world cup, never has to play for us again and can get a move away in the summer if someone wants a world class if you don’t have him do much defending centre back…maybe a good team that is not dogshit and has most of the ball?

Man I really have no connection to some of these guys because I feel indifferent. Hate that he’s injured but he’s really only been a liability this season.

Last few years we looked horrid without him in the lineup. This year though he has been one of the worst defenders in the league. Sure he’ll go and have a terrific World Cup and be off to Spain in the summer. Good riddance

  10. I’d never wish an injury on anyone and I’m glad he should be fine for the World Cup.

However, I am of the belief we will do better without him.

Am I the only one who is weirdly relieved by this? He is a top player on his day but he hasn’t been on it for a while now, sometimes he drops a 10/10 but will follow it up with a string of 4/10s or get himself sent off. Danso is far less flashy but he weirdly fills me with more confidence

  12. Honestly don’t know how to feel about this, he has been so shit recently but we know he’s a player who can turn up.

Personally if this is the last we see of him in a Spurs shirt I would say it perfectly sums him up: goes missing when we need him most. Thank you for the Europa league memories but I will not miss this guy. Let’s hope we’re still on a position where we don’t have to sell him for £30/40m at least.
