Seeing these 2 and looking at the situation we’re in right now just hurts so much.
Seems like the overall sentiment we share of dejection has also creeped into the players, and we truly do seem to be at rock fucking bottom.
My brain simply can’t comprehend that a club of our stature and value could ever get relegated.
I was discussing this with my mates and my girlfriend who knows nothing about football went on to say “ Oh they’re relegated for sure”, obviously in a funny tone but I just went cold, I had no witty comeback, nothing to defend myself with, just sadness.
Unfortunately there is currently no light at the end of the tunnel, so we must fight and walk through the tunnel until we see it.
The only thing good about being at rock bottom is there’s only one way you can go. ( and everyone saying it can go lower can take a piss )
