Liam Rosenior on mentality issues: “Right now, we are still in the race for the top five and can win the FA Cup. I have to change it now. I need to change it now – that’s why I’m here. It’s happened too many times where we’ve been in games with top teams.”

🙄 ready for the season to be over and this guy to stop talking lol.

If we miss out on European football the board deserve it

Think someone said it in the match thread, we have far too many players who are just mentally stupid, in game IQ per se and without leaders because they are all children, we are getting these kinda games.

  3. – Physicality an issue and something that needs to be addressed in the summer? Liam: We’ve had, even over the last week, very detailed conversations about what we need to look like after the summer window.

    – Success in the short term. Liam: I need to win in this moment, this is a huge football club. When I first came, I never asked for a lot of time because I understand the traditions and history of this club. Even someone as experienced as Pep, or Klopp, they had a year to sort things out. I came in January. It’s not an excuse, it’s the reality.

    – Could Fernandez have made a difference? Liam: Possibly. Hindsight, you see 20-20. Enzo is a top player and a top character and I’m looking forward to having him back next week. Sometimes you make a decision for the long term and not the short. It was a long-term decision that we were all aligned in making.

    – Frustration? Liam: In the second half, the performance was nowhere near what we wanted. There was no frustration with the first-half, we were organised and very difficult to break down. Cucu’s goal, it’s an inch, I still don’t know how close it is but they’ve made the decision. The reality now is there’s too many times we go a goal down and it’s quickly followed by another and that can’t happen.

  4. I know the issues are deeper than just the manager, but i genuinely can’t manage to look forward to next season if liam is still there

  5. We should’ve sacked him during the international break if we wanted to save ourselves and go for top 4-5 finish. Now it’s too late

It’s actually more over now than it was during the Potter/Lamps 2.0 era lol.

Waffle as usual. After every game its ‘not good enough for chelsea’, ‘i am accountable’, ‘difficult moment’, ‘we dont deal well with setbacks’, ‘i need to change it’

But nothing changes and nothing will change, because he is not able to change it. Clueless tacticly, lost the fans, lost the players.

  8. Are those games we’ve been in “with top teams” in the room with us now?

Win the fa cup ? We won’t get past Leeds let alone be able to beat city

Race for the top five? We just got outrun by relegation bottom clubs and battered by City at home, but sure, let’s talk about the FA Cup. The only race we are in right now is the race to see if Rosenior gets sacked before the directors are forced to sell Cobham graduates to cover their ÂŁ262m loss. Absolute delusion.

hmm? why is the mentality wrong from the start, and why are you only changing it now? Mr Man-Ager

  12. I feel for the guy because he’s trying different approaches and the players are trying too but it’s not working.

It’s a very lonely place he finds himself rn. Find a solution to a problem that might be you.

He’s so out of his depth, he hasn’t a clue on how to fix this mess they’ve created.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to hire him should be sacked immediately

  16. This guy likes to talk the talk.

Maybe he should shut the fuck up and do more coaching research
