Oh no let’s stick with him. Let’s continue to let him have a majority say in signings. Let’s keep spending 50+ million per player then scratch our heads when PSR pegs us, let’s live in the past and as the richest club in the world idolise our carabao cup for the next 70+ years. I mean he won us that so surely he will win us leagues with his fantastic 1 tactic and predictable subs.
Said it from the start, the Eddie in lot would turn on him and ruin his reputation. Best thing for him to do is walk. Yes we might get worse but we could get better. One things for sure and it’s blatantly obvious he’s reached his limit with us.
Eddie isn’t the only reason we’ve won a cup. It’s the board and it’s always been the board making the correct decisions. Bringing in Eddie was brilliant at the time, they invested and we got some pretty great players. Our owners are 90% the reason we’ve accomplished what we have.
I won’t ever chant for him to be sacked, he is a legend for us and will always be. Need to stop living in the past. He walks and we get rid of the select few who don’t have their hearts set on us and we go again.

We got our hands on a bit of silverware and now every single loss and poor performance is “uncharacteristic”. Eddie is absolutely snoozing on his laurels here and it’s sort of become expected within the fan base that we can’t have any sort of discussion about moving on from him just because there’s nobody better and bigger clubs that want a top manager as well. Yes he gave me the best day of my life, but does that mean I have to be happy with the same poor performance and tired excuses? Just because your wedding day is good, it doesn’t mean you should stay in the marriage if the goes downhill after it. We’re effectively settling for this quality. Without Bruno bailing us out constantly we’d be in the thick of a relegation battle right now and we look worse than some of the teams that are actually in it. We don’t have any run ins with sub par European teams that aren’t prem level to stat pad penalties with so now the pressure is on. I don’t even know if Eddie will make it to the end of the season

Still massively rate the man but sometimes it is just right to move onto another challenge and refresh

– Losing 3-1 to City in the FA Cup having gone ahead
– The last minute penalty at home to Barcelona
– Losing a 1-0 lead to Bournemouth at home in the FA Cup, only eventually making it to extra time thanks to a 95th minute penalty
– Conceding in the 88th minute to draw at Leverkusen
– Pope gifting two goals to Aubameyang at the Stade Velodrome
We’ve failed to hang on to leads in upwards of 15 games this season. We’ve thrown away almost as many wins as we’ve had actual wins. Our game management is comical. Stop insulting us with talk of this being uncharacteristic

People read too much into manager interviews. If you have been involved in Professional sports or any media facing company position you are trained to say the most banal things, basically just a “don’t offend backers and say something crazy” test.
When we were winning people loved his press conferences, now we are losing everything about him annoys people. You have simply fallen out of love.
