Most people don’t realise how fun the Championship (and lower league football) actually is

  2. Atleast it would give me a chance to expand my knowledge of the lower league. More games too

  3. hamburg stayed 7 years in division 2. i wonder how long we gonna play in the championship

  4. The novelty of playing teams we haven’t played in decades and the whole play-off dynamic would be interesting but given we’ve been in free fall for the last 2+ years I’m not exactly optimistic about our chances of coming right back up

  5. I think if Spurs get relegated it will be end of the club as we know it. So many hardworking, regular people will lose their jobs.

  6. After finding out that Reddit is an app that’s mostly leftists, loser mentality like this doesn’t surprise me.

  7. Not having to waste money to pay for matches on 2 different services in the US.

Not watching another boring ass pl games in the arsenal created pl.

As long as the club doesn’t ‘do a Leeds’ they will bounce back.

The longer term problem is being stuck as a bottom half Premier League side.

  9. I mean, I doubt we go 100+ days without a win in the league. So we have that going for us!

Nah, I think once the relegation is confirmed, I’ll step away from football.

I’m not supporting a team that plays in the lower tier, and even if they come straight back up, it would take Man City levels of sustained success to wash away the taint of having played lower league football in my lifetime. I accept that I am most likely watching my last Spurs games.

Can’t even really say it’s been fun … what have I seen really … one FA Cup, two league cups, a europa league, a second place league finish, and a champions league final … that’s over a period of 3 and a half decades!!!!

  11. the pessimism in this sub is outrageous. there’s still a good chance we stay up and if we don’t we’re 100% winning the league next year
