Im a huge supporter of Eddie and hate the Howe out campaign, but i am struggling to understand/defend starting Osula over Wissa and Wolte. If he doesnt play them now he never will.
Im clutching here, but could it just be a tactical choice…?

I’m guessing Woltemade must have picked up a slight knock on international duty since that’s the kind of luck we have at the moment

Does nobody here pay attention to Eddie’s press conferences?
He said due to most of the players being away on international duty (those who aren’t injured), he’s only had the full squad for training for a couple of days. Prior to that he had six players training.
We won’t see the full benefits of the full squad training for at least another week or so, imo.

Anyone else hate it when the release the lineup in numerical order instead of by position? My eyes have to dart up and doon to figure out what we’re going for!

Was not missing the over top reactions these last three weeks
Pretty happy, its our best defence and I’m glad to see Miley back in. Prefer Wolt up front but I suppose Osula fits a more intense style which we can afford to do with only a game a week now

For me i want to see one of our centre forwards get a run till the end of the season regardless of who it is
if its not Woltemade or Wissa id rather we give Osula the minutes than Gordon up front as we need to make a decision on who we are keeping next season
Osula is erratic but he is a centre forward he can finish , good hold up play and can head a ball
Just his touches can be loose and he make silly fouls which stop momentum
I get the feeling Eddie has kind of given up on Woltemade up front this season so he might not play that much for the rest of the games

Unbelievably frustrating decision to bench Woltemade again. He’s not perfect but has proved he can score at this level.

Miley straight back in, that’s awesome. Osula getting a start too, a bit unexpected.
Time on the training pitch is what Howe wanted and has had. No excuses , especially with Palace playing three days ago.
3 week break to potentially integrate Woltemade properly and he’s on the bench behind Osula. Lad is definitely getting sold in the summer.
Edit – the replies about internationals, I know. I was meaning that Howe has had ample time to find a solution.
Wissa and Woltemade’s confidence must be rock bottom.
Glad Miley is starting, still wish we’d play big Nick and Wissa at some point and give them time in their positions.
