  1. It’s like England when it comes to penalties, although we’ve done better in recent years.

Too emotional to get it over the line.

If Man City win tomorrow then yes but we know how much Chelsea and Arsenal love each other so Chelsea will be wanting to to then a favour

I mean no team in history has had a greater propensity to crumble under pressure than Arteta’s boring Arsenal. I wouldn’t at all be surprised if they bottle it yet again. Absolutely criminal showing today. Real feel for the Arsenal family. They deserve better.

  4. Yes, I’ve been saying for a while now that they will bottle it as always. Arsenal always always crumble

  5. Spurs getting relegated is taking all my focus and I really can’t enjoy it as much as I should.

That being said, I think both arsenal and city will drop points and arsenal will probably squeak over the line

If anything, it makes the league more exciting. Personally, I don’t give a shit. But if it makes the last few game weeks more exciting then bring it on. Nothing worse when the leagues over early.

  7. Hope so

We all hate Man Citeh and the way they’ve cheated everything they’ve ever “won”

But Arteta and the Goonies are insufferable!

The issue for Arsenal is not that they lost it’s that they have been playing shit for ages. Their open play chance creation is horrendous. I think they will probably still get it over the line but it will be tight.

  9. Alex Scott is a quality footballer. Would be perfect for united or Liverpool who both need reinforcements

It makes that City game have a lot more pressure than it already needed, they’ve not been in amazing form I don’t even think they can risk fielding a weaker side for Sporting.

Realistically I still expect them to win because they have such an easy run in, but they’re making this a lot harder than it had to be so who knows.

Why do people still not understand that we only had a (tentative) 3pt lead before today?

Now it’s potentially only down to goal difference.

I would say Arsenal still hold advantage here because the onus is on City to win their games in hand and beat us, but Christ are we ever making it painful.

Really blowing a 3 point lead!

  13. Obviously we could. But equally Chelsea could shithouse a win tomorrow and it’ll be like this match week never happened.

9 points clear, but City having 2 in hand and a 6 pointer, it could go either way. There’s 13 games of football to be played, and neither side look perfect.

You’d rather have the points on board than games in hand but theres no denying the pressure is weighing down these Gonners. You’d think Bournemouth was the home team with how they played. If City’s up for it, I can see them pipping Arsenal..

  15. Difficult because I hate Man City and everything they stand for, but Arsenal bottling this would be undeniably incredibly funny, so it’s a toss up
