If you look thou its 1 or 2 seats in every section so while it looks loads it’s 100-200 tickets out of 60000

  2. When regulars stop going the atmosphere will die. I know people like to say “I went to my first game I was singing and no one else was” and I do appreciate that. There’s loads of regulars who don’t create atmosphere and actually ruin it. But the groups who regularly sit together make the atmosphere what it is. The fact this is a very important game and there’s tickets, club should be worried. The Grand National is on too though.

FYI, the Grand National is on today. A nationwide horse racing event in Aintree, Liverpool. Could be why.

  4. How do you even find out about this? I’m a member always failing in the ballots and you’d think they would let people know there are tickets available. Coming from Ire unfortunately too late notice now 😔

So when a season ticket holder says “I’m not coming to the game” and returns their ticket for the game, do they get refunded? Or is the club able to list the ticket for sale and essentially make double revenue? I realize it’s probably a stupid question but I’m curious.

As a season ticket holder since 95/96 I have seen some dire teams and awful owners – remember Hicks & Gillette and managers (Roy Hodgson).

It never stopped me renewing my ticket as I know that if I did the Club has a waiting list longer than my arm who would take it at a higher price – hence I have always renewed and will continue to renew.

I`m looking forward to todays match as it give me a distraction from my retired life.
