It isnt just Mbappe though although the narrative is its him. We lost so much Madrid identity so quickly that it was never going to be instant success. We never replaced Benzeme, Modrid, Kroos and atill have no proper RW. The whole squad needs revamped and rebuilt but it wont happen, Alonso was the man but player power sent him packing. It will be the same outcome every time.
