He’s underrated. Involved in a lot more of Liverpool’s dangerous attacks than people think. It’s just that he’s involved in the early part of the attack so people don’t notice it so much. But someone has to start these things off.

We were making this sort of signing back in the Naybet and Davids days, or the Poyet and Sheringham ones.
Would have been ideal in January on a short deal, but I don’t.eant him here with his legs on the wane on a fat contract until 2028 and his 34th birthday.

Lange is absolutely useless. Sold Brennan for no reason, would have been great for cover right now. Bought Gallagher for no reason, when we had no LF or replacement for Son. Bought an unknown young 18yr old LB from Brazil. Was this the grand plan? Hope De Zerbi takes control of transfers and Lange gets the boot soon. I’d rather see us go for Estupian. Robertson was fantastic at his peak but wages, stamina and injury record don’t make this a good signing.

This would be a decent quality signing if true. It’s effectively a Ben Davies upgrade.
