That De Rossi goal was insane but completely lost to history for obvious reasons.

The finishes were nearly all such a high quality, the 8 goals probably came from an XG of about 2!
Nice to recall a couple of vintage Carrick moments, too

I missed the game. I was in Kyoto and was hiding from the score waiting to download it when I got home. Some old woman saw my shirt and said 7 points. It still didn’t ruin the game for me. I watched this over so many times.

Lazio fans sent Fergie seven cases of red wine for our seven goals after this match.
I love champions league nights where it’s light at kick off. I hope if we finish the job this season we can get back to hosting games like this next year.

Was in college – early days of Facebook when they started supporting the status update feature.
Remember posting “I am in 7th heaven” – and was very proud of the word play.

The days when not only did we win, but won in such style that it looked like a theatre performance at times.

This is my favourite United game to watch back, if you ever get chance watch the match with the Clive Tydsley commentary it gives me chills. “Magical Manchester United, Roma torn apart”

I was on a flight from London to Sydney and it took me a full 5 mins to realise I was not dreaming when we landed and I saw that scoreline.

I was at OT for that game, I remember being seriously worried pre kick off that we wouldn’t qualify, especially if they got an away goal!
“Totti totti what’s the score?” chant was popular after the first few went in

Well that was fast flowing football at its peak. Now we’re seeing it again with PSG, and now they are dominating europe.

I had a ticket. My wife was pregnant and hormonal, so I gave the ticket to a friend.
Worst decision of my life.

I was in Rome the day after.
My gf saw the Roma scarf our taxi driver was wearing and thought it was a good conversation starter.
It wasn’t.
We’re no longer together.

This was THE match for me growing up
After so much trouble with injury, Alan Smith scoring for us to lead the tie on aggregate…
