  1. If more people adopted this attitude, the ride would be much more enjoyable.

Do yourselves favour, just delete Twitter and honestly block any content that provokes any sort of negative reaction.

I realise it’s kinda ironic seeing this in a Reddit comment, but it’s so obvious that so many people have an unhealthy relationship with the content they consume on the internet.

Have a good Friday night, everyone. Make some plans for tomorrow afternoon and evening and remember life goes on with or without 3 points. ❤️

  2. Me neither Andrew, and neither should anyone who reps Arsenal. They want to be bored by watching us, it’s their decision to watch us. I don’t get bored because I have stakes in the game.

Agreed. I also couldn’t give a fish’s tit about what any of our fans want when it comes to play style.

We ask them to score goals and win games, they’ve scored the most goals and won the most games in the Premier League, AND the Champions League league table, and haven’t lost a match so far in the knockouts.

Still, people act like we’re a horrible team. Pointless to listen to most fans.

  4. I don’t give fuck what they want as well, but let’s be real, our creativity in attacking phase is terrible

Stop calling them neutral. They aren’t. They’re aligned with pool or yanited. Dumbasses that aren’t aligned just take up the narrative because lazy/stupid.

I’ve seen a ton of European pundits ask why people scoff at it, and call it a professional performance worthy of a potential champion.

I still prefer Bill the Butcher’s “I don’t give a thumpity fuck”. Just started teaching and I’ve had to prevent myself from saying that on a few occasions

  7. I dont care what the neutrals think about the way we play.
I think we are a crap boring team to watch and the only justification would be if we won something.
That said I hope if we do win something this season and Arteta does stay, he gets this team playing a more exiting type of football again. because god knows i cant watch this for much longer.

Not sure I believe that, lots of people seem concerned with outside thought. Our threads are filled with people upset we are pumping 3-4 goals because we get bantered for boring football, but our football is insanely effective

  9. Yeah we need to embrace this is who we are a team that prioritizes keeping cleansheet and being in the game for long periods. Might look a bit ugly at times who cares if it wins us the league.

  10. The media want blood. It sells. Rage. It sells.

Lap it up, you’ll get more, fatten you on it.

Then you stop noticing, because it’s ‘normal’.

They don’t care. They want your money, loyalty, and attention.

0-1 Away in Europe in Champs League to a team unbeaten in 17 at home.

“Bottlers” – bruh how many games still to go?

Stir the division. Sell it. Learn from it, adapt and sell more.

Fuck that. Come on the Gunners.

It’s not a hard concept to grasp. Would I prefer if my team could win a major title while playing beautiful, attacking football? Absolutely but I’m so desperate to win that title that I don’t care about the style anymore. The drawback is that losses feel 10 times worse when we play that style of pragmatic football.

Winning both spectacularly and ugly against the strongest competition against the strongest teams. Also, this recent win wasn’t even that ugly. It was tactical, and difficult.

  13. Wild_Investigator622 on

I think it’s crazy for any of our fans to be talking about playing styles and stuff when we’re this close to a title, like we are in no position to be that entitled and I personally have enjoyed watching our games this season, feels like any other season sometimes you play well sometimes you don’t and you get the result, it’s only this season I’ve seen that we’re not allowed to not play well and get a result and the manager should be sacked lmao

  14. NotMyFirstChoice675 on

To be fair there are no neutrals, there’s us and then there’s everybody else

  15. At the end of the day, neutrals will complain about if it’s attractive and Arsenal fans will give not one fuck as long as it means winning the league and/or CL

  16. Stock-Row-6454 on

He’s right! Teams in europe don’t win at Lisbon. The teams that have failed to include the beautiful football playing PSG. We won 1-0 away and with that made the hone leg infinitely easier.

Makes me wonder, what team isn’t boring these days? It feels like almost everyone is. Wenger was the one who made me fall in love with football, but those days are long gone. Maybe I’m just getting old, but I don’t even care about football that much anymore. At this point, it’s just a habit to keep watching.

  18. Exactly. So much of the “neutral” criticism is just recycled noise from rival fans. It’s way more fun to just enjoy the win and ignore the background chatter.

  19. If we dont give a toss about neutrals, then wouldn’t it make sense not to write articles about what they do or dont think?

  20. itsheadfelloff on

At this point the hate is so dumb we could bring back prime Wenger ball and they’d still call us boring.

  21. Constant_Chip_1508 on

This is preposterous. One can be a fan on the team and recognize that our style of play is dreadful to watch from an entertainment perspective. End of the day that’s why we watch – TO BE ENTERTAINED.

You all may think you’re an important member of the club, but you aren’t.
