I think his chance, assists and maybe goal numbers would be higher too if he didn’t constantly get subbed off when we actively chase a goal + opponents don’t press as much, that’s kinda when you want him on the pitch but fresh legs were good vs Bayern too. Taking him off when we’re up and need to defend 100% makes sense but when chasing a goal he should be on the pitch or Trent is the only one who can deliver a proper pass/cross forward. He’s a demon against tired legs but let’s hope he can repeat and do even more in the away leg.

Guler has been great his physical game improved as well which was his biggest weakness and he gives his all on the pitch with experience he will get much much better i think if he had a proper no 9 in front of him stats would be much higher .

Bayern is absolutely a team we can beat no matter what anyone says. The negativity around here is honestly a bit much.
We just went toe-to-toe with one of the tournament favourites and did a pretty good job imo. On another night, if Manuel Neuer was not pulling off world-class saves, we were the ones walking away with a lead.
And let’s be real, Bayern weren’t exactly clinical either. Plus the chances they gifted us were the exact gifts we always get against them. We just didn’t take it this time.
What’s encouraging is how much we created. We generated more chances than expected and showed we can grow into the game.
These matches are always about momentum swings you absorb pressure, find your rhythm, and then strike.
Plenty to build on here. This tie is far from over.

The most important part is, he is the only real madrid player on the list, and he is playing in a deeper role. Considering there are mostly attackers and fullbacks, RM playstyle is behind the top level. Wings are wasting and wasting, and fullback utilization is terrible.
