I think Robbo just got it. Like he just always GOT IT. As did most of our legends from the Klopp era. And the “Getting it” bit is important because if you see the current lack of connection our fans have with the team now built in Slot’s image, you can see just comprehensively the team doesn’t get it and how important “getting it” really is.

That to me is the biggest shame in all this. We’re replacing all these players from an era where the players treated playing for Liverpool with an absolute reverance and a sense of privilege to ushering in an era of players who don’t get it and a manager who really doesn’t fucking get it.

From its entire generation he was the underdog. No one expected him to be that good. I’m certain that for 3 or 4 season he was top 3 left backs in the world.

  3. Gonna miss him from the pitch and from the videos with the squad, he always brought immaculate vibes with him

  4. That seems a bit different to having no regrets.

We’ll have to wait for the book I guess

  5. Robbo says “This club means everything to me”. Why is he leaving then? He could have continued here for a role more focusing on supporting younger players and for less playing time and money.

Seems a bit ingenious to say the club means everything to me when he’s ready to move on for what’s best for himself.

  6. I love he was so dedicated to us and his country but those couple of major injuries he got with Scotland over the last few years helped deteriorate him quicker for us.

  7. One of my faves of the last decade, he would be the perfect teammate I believe. Those videos he made with Trent in the peak Klopp years alone are legendary.

  8. I dont know why, but whenever I think about klopp at liverpool, robbo is always there. It’s gonna be weird not seeing him play anymore 😭
