  1. >However, Kudus is yet to appear in any footage from training and football.london understands that the Ghana star has faced a setback, although it is currently unclear whether it is a new injury or a further problem with his quad. There are some suggestions that an operation may be required and if so that could potentially place the remainder of his Premier League season and World Cup participation in doubt.

  2. Setback after setback after setback and some here will still act like we’re being out of order for questioning what the everloving fuck is going on with our medical/rehabilitation teams at the club.

    >There are some suggestions that an operation may be required and if so that could potentially place the remainder of his Premier League season and World Cup participation in doubt.

This is a CONSTANTLY repeating theme

Turns out that overplaying someone who was quite obviously injured leads to a serious injury. I am shocked.

It was painfully obvious he wasn’t right since he went down against Everton. He then came off the bench days later in the cup against Newcastle and got his leg absolutely destroyed by Joelinton.

He missed United with an injury and the proceeded to play every single minute after.

Yeah we’re fucked. Good job we didn’t panic in January after selling Brennan and then immediately losing kudus.

I feel like he will play Bergvall or Gallagher as the right hand side of a box midfield in position, with Porro providing the width on the overlap. Not great.

  5. Genuinely think this is what seals it. Whole time I’ve been holding onto Kudus coming back and being a huge attacking output on the right hand side to save us. He was by far our best attacking player at the start of the season

First club to ever relegate themselves through sheer number and length of injuries

  6. That line about not panicking has to follow Lange and Vinai to their graves. Every single interview, Q&A, etc. it has to be put to them why they didn’t “panic”. Oh and Thomas frank should never go near a serious football job for the rest of his life

Yeah, it’s over. We’ll keep fighting but injuries to Kudus, Kulusevski and Maddison have done us

  8. We have a setback.

    A setback. Set. Back.

    We have _been_ set back.

    We _are_ set. But back.

Instead of being forward, we find ourselves back. And it is there that we are set.

The situation was formerly fluid and subject to change. However it has now been set in place. This place is back from where we were.

    Back. Not forward. _Back_.

That is where we are set.

    Set back.

    A setback.

  9. They don’t know what the setback actually is so of course saying he may need an operation is valid but this just comes across as engagement bait if you use 2 brain cells to process what’s actually being said.

  10. Feels like every single long term injury we’ve had in the last 2 years has been longer than usual.

  11. And yet precisely what every one of us expected.

Always us man, god forbid one of our players should rehabilitate earlier than expected.

  12. Again guys, relax until we hear anything official. All this piece is saying is that he’s not been seen in full training. They’re just extrapolating from that for clicks.

Only means he will most likely miss Sunderland, which was always a possibility.

Edit: they also reported yesterday that he *has* been pictured in training.

Another example of piss poor management, how do they keep getting away with this.

  14. This is a genuine fucking piss take. How does this keep happening? Again and again and again.

Full investigation into all staff involved in medical decisions is needed. This isn’t a coincidence, don’t fool yourself.

‘We already sacked the medical team’ and have obviously replaced them with more incompetence, sorry. Every club has injury issues due to tight schedule but we are a whole different world apart in them

  15. It is really insane how every fucking time things seem to be getting better the past couple seasons a hammer blow arrives to crush all hope. It is like we are living in a TV show adding dramatic twists for the sake of it

  16. MaxPower1882 on

    Naturally!

Ange may have said some silly things at times, but fucking hell is that analogy, with the light at the end of the tunnel just being another oncoming train, absolutely spot on about us!

    COYS!!!

  17. Ravillious1990 on

Honestly, can a fan base sue a club’s medical department? Is there legal grounding there

  18. Raziel-Reaver on

He might have a real set back or the rumors about him wanting to leave is true and he doesn’t want to play for Spurs again. We shall know next month, If he gets a surgery than it was true set back, but if he just doesn’t train with spurs then suddenly he’s fit to play with Ghana at the World Cup then it would be clear farce.

  19. browniespurs on

Underfunded and poorly equipped squad -> overplay our starters -> starters all get long term/hard to manage injuries

    Again and again and again

  20. ExternalNational on

The decision to get rid of Johnson who can play on either wing becomes even more baffling when our squad is paper thin in those areas

  21. Mediocre_Nova on

Are you fucking kidding me? How many “injury setbacks” can one team get? How useless is our medical team?

  22. Kudus had ZERO injuries for 3 years until he joined Tottenham.

ZERO. Can’t forgive Frank for running him into the ground and getting him injured. Now he is afflicted with more voodoo on top of it, and just basically done for rest of 2026.

  23. Bison_Aggressive on

Didn’t even get the full 3 weeks of peace and mental stability before we are mindfucked again by this club.
